As a Private Equity Associate at Sagard Holdings Inc., you will play a key role in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and working closely with our investment team to drive growth and value creation for our portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening and evaluation of investment opportunities across various industries and geographies
- Assisting in the due diligence process, including financial modeling and market research
- Collaborating with our investment team to develop and implement investment strategies
- Providing analytical support to the investment committee and portfolio management team
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including management teams, investors, and industry experts
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the private equity industry
