Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Health Sciences Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional registered nursing services to patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications as required.
- Take a leadership role within the healthcare team and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- Experience in pediatric medicine preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient in the use of computer software and applications.
- PALS certification.
- Experience working with Indigenous populations.
- Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses.
- Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.
This is a full-time position that requires moderate to heavy physical effort. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a demanding and stressful environment.
