We are seeking a skilled Bread Baker to join our team at COBS Bread Cambridge North. As a Bread Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread products, including artisanal breads, pastries, and sweet goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Operate machinery
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Food safety/handling skills
- Administer first aid in emergency situations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
