Bread Baker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bread Baker to join our team at COBS Bread Cambridge North. As a Bread Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread products, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality bread products.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment to produce bread products efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
