The successful candidate will assist the Commissioning Manager, Superintendent & Project Manager with project performance, primarily scheduling, time and material coordination, cost tracking and documentation. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining steadfast relationships with project owners, consultants, suppliers and subtrades.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project scheduling, time and material coordination, cost tracking and documentation
  • Create and maintain relationships with project owners, consultants, suppliers and subtrades
  • Coordinate construction tasks, equipment and system commissioning activities
  • Archive all project documentation, including Operation and Maintenance manuals
  • Maintain accurate RFI and RFQ logs
  • Log and maintain contemporaneous records and daily photographs
  • Maintain accurate files for shop drawings, change orders & submittals
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of project specifications and drawings
  • Manage site documentation, preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Participate in layout and field engineering activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in related science, engineering or construction management discipline
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word, with experience in CAD, Microsoft Project and Bluebeam REVU preferred
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and written
  • A valid driver's license
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
