Egis is a leading consulting firm in North America, with a strong presence in the GTA. We are seeking an experienced Bridge Infrastructure Manager to join our team and lead our bridge team in the GTA.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic professional to lead substantial bridge infrastructure detailed design, particularly with the MTO and surrounding municipalities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with the MTO, 20+ years' experience as a professional engineer, and a strong reputation working with MTO & GTA municipal clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct leadership and day-to-day management to the bridge team.
  • Build and lead a high-performing technical team dedicated to advancing bridge infrastructure solutions.
  • Support as Technical Lead and provide mentorship, technical guidance and oversight on projects.
  • Actively lead and support the team to execute strategic growth and business initiatives.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience working with the MTO, either directly or as a consultant.
  • 20+ years' experience as a professional engineer.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
  • Has an excellent reputation working with MTO & GTA municipal clients.
  • Experience with project management and has worked in and understands the consulting engineering environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Transportation Structures Engineering including policies, regulations, guidelines, and operational procedures.
  • Experience in preliminary and detail design work.
  • Works effectively as part of a team, with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Can be approved in the MTO RAQS system for various specialties within the bridge design categories.
  • Strong business development skills.
