Ridgeview Lodge Community is seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our care team. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Assist with medication administration, including BP monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises.
- Monitor resident well-being, reporting any concerns to the care team.
- Perform daily tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and resident care assignments.
- Complete resident care plans, ensuring all aspects of care are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to resident call bells and door alarms.
- Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.
- Medication Certification.
- Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario applicants) or Criminal Records Check (British Columbia applicants).
