At Intact Financial Corporation, we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Manager, Talent Acquisition. As a key member of our national talent acquisition team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of skilled Talent Acquisition Consultants and driving the complete recruitment process.

About the Role

We're seeking a leader who embodies the values of Intact and can promote an inclusive, respectful, and stimulating work environment. As the Manager, Talent Acquisition, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development of team members and tracking their progress towards achieving operational goals and personal goals.
  • Contributing to the improvement of processes and established practices with a view to continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the team to leverage systems and technology to offer an excellent experience for candidates and managers while improving the quality of hired talent.
  • Leading projects related to the TA & HR strategic plan.
  • Having a holistic understanding of the external employment conditions for the sector and using market analytics to inform decision making.
  • Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the team meets their business needs in timely hiring of quality talent.
  • Partnering with internal employer brand teams to ensure talent attraction strategies are informed by their expertise.
  • Building impactful recruitment strategies that support our hiring goals.
  • Tracking and analyzing performance indicators to assess team performance, make strategic decisions, and improve processes.
  • Leveraging observations and working closely with the team responsible for the talent acquisition strategy to determine measures that will achieve results.
  • Collaborating with other HR teams (advisory function, talent management, and compensation).
  • Being an ambassador for our employer brand and supporting all initiatives aimed at enhancing the profile of Intact Financial Corporation as an employer and a destination of choice for top talent and experts.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Seven to ten years of related experience, preferably in a complex organization, including three to five years of people management experience.
  • Experience with recruitment strategies for corporate functions (finance, investment, marketing, etc.) for professional and management positions.
  • Effective communication and relationship management.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt and promote change management.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Analytical ability: constantly thinking about the best way to measure results and transform data into meaningful measures.
  • Experience with Workday as an ATS and HRIS system would be an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required as this position requires regular interaction with colleagues across Canada.
