We are seeking a skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team at White Ocean Drywall Co. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary

The Site Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites. This includes preparing production reports, overseeing apprenticeship training, recruiting and hiring workers, managing company equipment, estimating costs, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Production Reports: Compile and submit regular reports on site productivity, progress, and any issues that may arise.
  • Oversee Apprenticeship Training: Coordinate and supervise the training of new employees, ensuring they receive the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Recruit and Hire Workers: Source, interview, and hire qualified candidates to fill vacant positions, and manage related staffing actions.
  • Manage Company Equipment: Maintain and operate company-owned equipment, including CADD systems, to ensure efficient and safe site operations.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Conduct site assessments to estimate material and labor requirements, ensuring accurate budgets and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety protocols, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and apply blueprints and drawings to guide site operations and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies as required, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to site activities.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Please note that this is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek, and the primary language spoken in the workplace is English.
