Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Occupational Therapist to join our team at pt Health in Durham Region, ON.

About the Role

This is a flexible part-time to full-time position that offers a salary of $50-$70 per hour depending on experience. As an Occupational Therapist with our company, you will be responsible for providing ministry funded, community-based occupational therapy services to adults and children within their place of residence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop best practice evidence-based interventions in collaboration with clients/caregivers.
  • Complete funding applications as applicable and maintain documentation related to assessment findings, care plans, progress and discharge summaries according to COTO standards.
  • Link clients/caregivers to community agencies/resources when appropriate.

Requirements:
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in working with clients in a community setting is preferred but new graduates will be considered.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and report writing.
  • Proficiency with computers and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
