Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at LINX MILLWORK INC. as a Carpenter Helper. This role involves assisting experienced carpenters with various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
