Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Red Swan Pizza. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Load buspans and trays, and place dishes in storage areas.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment:

As a Kitchen Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
