Join Lenovo as a BMC Firmware Engineer within our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a team of firmware specialists to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and document the BMC stack for our cutting-edge server solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Firmware Development: Focus on the creation, maintenance, and debugging of firmware for the Server BMC.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage in planning discussions and status updates with team members.
Essential Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in firmware development.
  • Proficiency in GNU C and C++ for at least 3 years.
  • Experience in source code debugging for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems for at least 3 years.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as BASH and Python.
  • Prior knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of Git version control, including workflows, forking, pull requests, and code reviews.
