Position Overview: As a Regulatory Compliance Advisor or Chief Legal Officer at PSP Investments, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional legal counsel and services concerning compliance matters linked to the organization’s investment and operational activities, particularly in relation to securities regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal guidance to various teams within PSP Investments.
- Monitor and analyze changes in regulatory frameworks to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Engage in corporate initiatives and collaborate with external legal professionals.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments regarding compliance issues.
Qualifications: To thrive in this role, candidates should possess a law degree, be a member of the Canadian Bar, and have between 5 to 10 years of pertinent legal experience. A strong background in securities law compliance is essential, along with excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and fluency in both English and French.
