We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Casino Niagara. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of Asian-inspired dishes in our noodle bar and sushi bar.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation and presentation of Asian-inspired dishes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure team members are equipped to provide exceptional service.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of fresh ingredients.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Asian kitchen.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin (written and verbal); English (conversational).
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Food Safe Handling certificate and strong knife handling skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
