About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document results.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Track and store department inventory.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 49lbs and standing/walking for up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
  • 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication experience.
  • 1+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
  • Procedure-based maintenance experience (PM).
  • Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment run metrics, such as OEE/Up Time, to prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) safety standards, in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of computer networking systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
  • Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions, low voltage signal tracing, and logical device troubleshooting.
  • Basic ability to use Linux command line interface.

Compensation

The estimated compensation for this position is $28.00 – $28.25 CAD per year. The pay range listed is a total compensation range, including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
