Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks, ensuring they are in top condition and ready for delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical systems
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5, with ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular attendance and punctuality
