We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Feeder to join our Litho Department at Graphic Packaging International, Inc. As a Press Feeder, you will be responsible for adjusting and running the printing press, performing setup for the feed system, and assisting the second Pressman in changing plates and blankets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust and run the printing press to ensure high-quality prints.
  • Perform setup for the feed system to ensure smooth operation.
  • Assist the second Pressman in changing plates and blankets to maintain press efficiency.
  • Ensure all press supplies are available and in good condition.
  • Assist with make-ready procedures to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in washing plates, blankets, rollers, and ink fountains as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • General clean-up and maintenance of the press area.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
  • Attend and participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on new technologies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent experience.
  • English language knowledge/ability – speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with Off-Set Printing Press.
  • Experience in Manufacturing/production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in Equipment Preventative Care and Troubleshooting.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Available to work Weekly Rotational Shift schedule.
  • Familiarity and ability to adhere to company safety policies and government legislation.
  • Respect individuals, the organization, authority, the community, and the team.

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Must be flexible to work Weekly Rotating Shifts that may include holidays and weekends.
