Position Overview

As a Culinary Service Supervisor at Okoman Japanese Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service team. Your leadership will ensure that our high standards of quality and efficiency are met consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Scheduling: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of team members responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to our quality control standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Food Delivery Oversight: Supervise and verify the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
  • Schedule Management: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.

Employment Type: Permanent position.

Language of Work: English.

Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
