Position Overview

The role of a Reception Cashier involves managing financial transactions and providing exceptional customer service within a hospitality environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register efficiently.
  • Process various forms of payment including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Calculate and tabulate total payments for goods or services rendered.
  • Receive payments and issue receipts accordingly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and stock shelves as needed.
  • Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage hotel safety-deposit boxes for guests.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in using spreadsheet software.
Work Environment
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods is necessary.
