Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated English Language Trainer who possesses a genuine enthusiasm for education and a solid grasp of the hospitality sector. This role is pivotal in enhancing the English communication skills of our team, enabling them to engage effectively with our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute customized English language training programs that cater to the specific needs of hotel personnel.
  2. Facilitate both individual and group sessions that emphasize conversational English, industry-specific terminology, and professional communication techniques.
  3. Evaluate the English proficiency of staff members and develop tailored learning strategies.
  4. Create and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons utilizing various teaching methods and resources.
  5. Track and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and additional assistance as required.
  6. Work collaboratively with hotel leadership to identify training requirements and modify programs as necessary.
  7. Maintain comprehensive records of attendance and progress for all students.
  8. Stay informed about the latest trends in teaching methodologies and the hospitality industry.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related discipline; relevant certification is preferred.
  2. Demonstrated experience as an English instructor, ideally within a hospitality or corporate environment.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  4. Capacity to foster a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere.
  5. Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and resources.
  6. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in the hospitality industry.
  2. Multilingual capabilities, especially in languages relevant to our guest demographics.
  3. Understanding of cultural differences and communication styles in international contexts.
  4. Ability to create and innovate new educational content.
  5. Awareness of multicultural dynamics and the ability to engage with individuals from various backgrounds.
  6. Proven teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback.
  7. Strong leadership skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  8. Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  10. Fluency in both verbal and written English is essential.
  11. Prior experience in pre-opening phases is advantageous.
