You as an Estimating Manager:
- Experience in creating and monitoring construction estimates across various project types and delivery methods, including lump sum, construction management, and design-build, with the ability to lead a team in the preparation of estimates for major projects ($400,000,000+).
- Manage and administer department functions, including operating budgets, staffing, wage reviews, work assignments, performance evaluations, and other related tasks.
- Effectively determine bid strategies required for the company's success and plan and coordinate large projects.
- Review all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. Advanced management or technical training is preferred.
- Extensive (10 or more years) experience in similar facility construction estimating and related functions, plus thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies, and construction contracts.
- Excellent organizational, supervisory, and decision-making/problem-solving skills are essential.
- You possess or have the ability to obtain CISD Reliability and Secret Clearance.
