Opportunity for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist

The Department of Anesthesia at Island Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced pediatric anesthesiologist to join our team of healthcare professionals.

We require an individual with Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Anesthesiology and eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a tertiary pediatric setting, providing anesthesia care to children and adolescents. The surgical team is supported by pediatric intensive care and neonatal units.

In addition to pediatric anesthesia, the candidate will also have the opportunity to care for adult patients in a variety of areas.

We are a growing academic department, affiliated with the University of British Columbia and the Island Medical Program. Responsibilities will include direct clinical care and teaching of medical students and residents.

Island Health provides comprehensive and progressive healthcare services to the residents of Vancouver Island.
