Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join our team at JBS Food Canada's main processing facility in Brooks, Alberta. As an Automation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronics, including metal detectors, weighing scales, and label printers
  • Setup and calibrate Foss meat analyzers and production data collection devices
  • Install and terminate data communication cables and CCTV cameras
  • Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot instruments, including VFD and PLC systems

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma supplemented by post-secondary education
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, programming, and calibration skills
  • Minimum 1 year of Automation technician experience
