Deputy Chief Operating Officer

Thiara Construction and Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Executive Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Strategy: Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer to develop and implement strategic plans, objectives, and policies that drive business growth and success.
- Operational Management: Oversee the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions, ensuring effective coordination and management of regional, divisional, or departmental operations.
- Representation and Communication: Represent the organization in negotiations, official functions, and other external engagements, ensuring effective communication and representation of our values and mission.
- Talent Management: Select and develop middle managers, directors, and executive staff, providing necessary authority and creating optimal working conditions to drive business success.
- Financial and Administrative Management: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and oversee human resources planning to ensure business growth and sustainability.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a senior leadership or executive role.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support the recruitment and integration of newcomers and refugees.
- Support for Indigenous People: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support the recruitment and integration of newcomers and refugees.
Working Conditions: 30 hours per week, permanent position, English language, and flexible work arrangements.
