Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at CHEZRANTI COMMUNITY CENTRE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee hours and wages.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
