Job Title: Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at CHEZRANTI COMMUNITY CENTRE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Manage payroll and benefits administration, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, and maintaining accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and accounting standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
