CB Canada is seeking a skilled Cash Handling Specialist to join our team at the Elements Casino Grand River. As a key member of our Cage Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the care, control, transfer, and balancing of financial assets at the gaming site. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure seamless transactions with patrons and internal customers alike. In this role, you will work under the guidance of Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing exceptional customer service to patrons and internal customers
* Managing cash and voucher transactions with accuracy and efficiency
* Maintaining a high level of knowledge of cash, foreign currency, and other settlement types
* Collaborating with the Count team to remove, replace, and count contents of cash boxes on the gaming floor daily
* Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with excellent communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
If you have a passion for numbers and a knack for people, this may be the role for you. We are looking for a candidate with a strong mathematical aptitude, ability to work in a physically demanding area, and ability to work within a confined space. The successful candidate will possess a secondary school diploma, one or more years of experience in customer service and handling cash, and a working knowledge of computer software. Additionally, the ability to obtain registration as a category 2 Gaming Assistant with the AGCO is required.
