Position Overview

The role of a Child Care Specialist involves providing comprehensive care for children in a home environment. This position is essential for ensuring the well-being and development of children while supporting the family in their daily routines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household tasks in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Maintain records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Supervise and care for children.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments.
  • Attend to the emotional well-being of children.
  • Cook meals as required.
