We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team at Providence Health Care as the Director, Allied Health Education and Organizational Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of our strategic plan for Allied Health education and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Allied Health education and operations portfolio.
- Lead the development of policies, systems, and procedures to ensure quality in Allied Health education programs, operations, and services.
- Collaborate with academic institutions to develop alternative and innovative models of delivery to meet changing organizational needs.
- Develop and implement strategies for recruitment and retention of allied health staff.
- Manage and monitor the annual overall budget for Allied Health Education and Operations.
- Provide leadership to staff through coaching, mentoring, and modeling key behaviors.
- Develop and maintain a human resources plan that aligns Allied Health/interprofessional educational and operational goals and objectives.
- Master's degree in an Allied Health or related discipline.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressively increasing leadership responsibility in a complex health care or academic health sciences environment.
- Current practicing registration in good standing with an applicable regulatory body.
- Strong program planning and development skills, including integration of evidence-based best practices.
- Results-oriented with the ability to develop and execute strategy across large complex organizations.
- Ability to work under pressure and to effectively meet internal and external deadlines.
