Senior Scrum Master (Contract)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Scrum Master to join our team at Moneris Solutions Corp to provide guidance and support to 2-3 Agile product teams in achieving their objectives and facilitating coordination across the organization.

Location: This role will be based in our Toronto office and will involve working in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: The Senior Scrum Master will report to the Senior Manager, Scrum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, sprint review, backlog refinement, and retrospectives within the teams.

Collaboration with the Product Owner and Tech Lead will be essential to ensure the needs of the team are adequately addressed, and obstacles in the team's path are cleared (e.g. dependencies, risks, impediments, and improvements).

Tracking team performance metrics and progress towards sprint goals will be a key responsibility.

Working with program leadership and other partners will be necessary to ensure strategy alignment.

The Senior Scrum Master will work with program leadership to track and communicate goals, risks, dependencies, and milestones. Assistance in tracking execution and obtaining metrics to inform data-driven decisions will be required.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or other related certifications are desired.

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.

4+ years of relevant work experience as a Scrum Master is necessary.

3+ years of Agile methodology experience in a large enterprise environment is preferred.
