The Role of a Store Associate

Working in retail means being the face of Nike, Inc. Our sales teams are dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences through product knowledge and outstanding service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit enthusiasm for Nike products and services.
  • Show eagerness to learn the fundamentals of various store roles, including Service, Visual Presentation, and Stockroom.
  • Deliver top-notch service and attention to all customers.
  • Assist in executing daily retail operations to ensure premium service and smooth store functioning.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and teammates.
  • Engage actively in store community events.
  • Demonstrate reliability and flexibility by working varied hours to meet business needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of store departments and perform tasks such as operating the cash register, shipping and receiving, stocking, cleaning, and creating visual displays.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred.
  • Flexible scheduling availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
