Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Logistics Warehouse Operator to enhance our team. With a nationwide presence, Sunbelt Rentals Film & TV caters to productions of various scales, offering an extensive and cutting-edge inventory. Our mission is to facilitate the art of storytelling by being the reliable partners in production for our clients.

In response to the expanding needs of the production sector, our Location Equipment Supply (LES) team is on the lookout for an ideal candidate to fill the Logistics Warehouse Operator role. This is a full-time, permanent position, and the general working hours are Monday to Friday (10:30am – 7:00pm). The position reports directly to the Field Operations Manager, LES Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and staging orders; loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Performing vehicle pre/post trip inspections and reporting issues to management as necessary.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and overseeing inventory.
  • Assisting with inventory audits as needed, examining products for any defects or damages.
  • Operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely.
  • Setting up and repairing equipment as required.
  • Collaborating with other departments as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Capable of lifting or moving heavy items weighing up to 75lbs.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts when required.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Physical Requirements

This role involves physical demands such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting over 50 pounds, as well as working both indoors and outdoors as required.
