Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to lead our General Industry sales efforts in Western Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and developing strong relationships with our distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Sales Strategies
    • Work closely with distributors to create sales plans that meet their needs and drive business growth.
    • Identify opportunities to increase sales and implement effective strategies to achieve targets.
  • Provide Training and Support
    • Deliver product training to distributors and their teams to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to sell our products effectively.
    • Assist with installation supervision and provide technical support as needed.
  • Build Strong Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers, and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service to drive business growth and retention.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with distributors, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge and Experience
    • Experience working with industrial finishing equipment and a strong understanding of the industry.
    • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, preferably through work-related experience.
  • Business Acumen
    • Ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Strong business acumen to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Travel and Physical Demands
    • Ability to travel extensively throughout Western Canada, including driving for long periods and occasional air travel.
    • May be exposed to solvents, paints, and other hazardous materials.
    • Ability to lift and carry products of moderate weight.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge
    • Technical understanding of our product line or similar equipment.
  • Industry Experience
    • Experience working in automation and production environments.
  • Business Skills
    • Knowledge of the quotation process and ability to create effective sales proposals.
