Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Co-op to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately reconciling customer payments and/or supplier accounts, and analyzing sales data for completeness.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer communication and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Reconcile customer payments and/or supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Analyze sales data to identify anomalies and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Monitor and track invoice compliance and accruals to ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a business program with an accounting focus
  • Proven intermediate Excel skills
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and operate new software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
