JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary goal of this role is to deliver level 3 support for end users and their workstations, collaborating with other IT teams, including the Service Desk, when they encounter issues that cannot be resolved at their level.
Furthermore, this position involves overseeing the installation of software on workstations through the deployment of standard packages, addressing vulnerabilities, and managing escalated tickets.
This role demands adherence to Bank standards and continuous monitoring of project delivery progress.Daily responsibilities include support activities, administration, and projects related to the entire end user workstation environment based on Microsoft Windows 10.
Position Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Technical Support Expert managing Microsoft Windows clients (with a focus on Windows 10)
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Management (SCCM) for software packaging and distribution
- Proficient in PowerShell and shell scripting
- Strong understanding of ITIL methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory for user, group, and computer management
- Familiarity with working according to timelines and milestone deliveries
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English is essential as the role supports multiple countries in the Americas region.
- Service-oriented, positive, dedicated, and enthusiastic team player.
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours (8am to 6pm)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Position Responsibilities:
Participate in the Release Control Management team for the Americas, assisting with testing and production releases for approximately 100 applications monthly.
- Oversee software deployment via Microsoft Configuration Management (SCCM), utilizing expertise to manage installations in multiple phases, execute detailed procedures, and implement features to remove previous software versions.
- Be an integral part of the End User Computing support team for the Americas, addressing all assigned tickets.
- Develop and execute scripts using Shell and PowerShell.
- Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures related to change and incident management.
- Contribute to ensuring that all systems are deployed in alignment with group standards and best practices.
