Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients in a rural area setting. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to healthcare staff
  • Participate in client care planning and implementation
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide comprehensive care to clients
Requirements:
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a rural area
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move clients as required
