Overview:

Boart Longyear is actively seeking qualified Surface Diamond Drillers/Diamond Core Drillers to contribute to our operations. As a prominent entity in the field of minerals exploration, environmental drilling, and infrastructure drilling services, we uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and quality in our endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines consistently
  • Execute all tasks safely while ensuring the well-being of equipment and team members
  • Mentor and train new Driller Assistants within a secure environment
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery
  • Operate ancillary equipment as required
  • Keep precise operational records
  • Offer guidance and assistance to fellow field personnel

Required Qualifications:

  • Current First Aid Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a diamond drilling operator
  • Preferred experience in exploration diamond drilling settings
  • Must meet the standards of the Fitness for Duty program
