Position Overview

The Director of Vendor Partnerships will spearhead the development and growth of a high-performing team consisting of 6-10 sales professionals, ranging from entry-level to experienced. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence, enhance, and execute the sales and service strategy of the organization while collaborating closely with other Sales Directors and the President of the Vendor Partnerships Division. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in both sales and team leadership, seeking a significant impact within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate, execute, and assess strategic sales initiatives by guiding and overseeing sales and service operations, establishing performance objectives, and allocating resources effectively to drive revenue growth and develop sales personnel.
  • Lead and nurture your team through effective coaching, training, and management; oversee daily sales activities; engage in performance evaluations; support team members in their professional growth; and foster engagement and morale through the strategic use of company resources and incentives.
  • Track and report on sales and service performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis while adhering to Info-Tech Acquire policies and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements; communicate solutions, implement changes, and monitor outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Division President and fellow Sales Directors to design and execute the Info-Tech Acquire Strategy while operating within established company processes and policies.
  • Uphold a positive corporate image of Info-Tech by ensuring compliance with specified standards in all sales and service delivery activities.
  • Proactively manage client accounts by conducting regular service interactions to ensure alignment and maximize the use of the Info-Tech membership.
  • Engage with marketing leads and conduct coordinated outreach across channels within your designated territory to schedule sales presentations with potential clients.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration with our Research and Product Teams and other internal departments.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of frontline sales experience, ideally within a fast-paced B2B sales environment, demonstrating a consistent record of achieving targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business Acumen: Leverages knowledge of the business landscape and IT to engage effectively with customers.
  • Self-awareness: A self-driven individual with an understanding of personal strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Experience in an advisory, information, or business services organization.
