The assistant store manager collaborates closely with the store manager to foster a cooperative atmosphere that encourages inclusivity and positive interactions. To drive the store's success, you will lead and mentor the team to meet sales and profitability targets. Additionally, you will engage in recruitment, performance oversight, training, and development. Your adaptability to various situations, environments, challenges, tasks, and schedules is crucial for your success.
Daily Responsibilities
- Ensure the store achieves corporate objectives and adheres to key performance metrics.
- Oversee store operations by effectively managing tasks (company policies and procedures, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling).
- Assist in recruiting, managing, developing, and training top candidates who are passionate about sales, customer service, and fashion.
- Execute marketing initiatives while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting atmosphere that encourages customer engagement.
- Establish clear and effective communication with the store manager and district manager.
Qualifications
Desired Profile
- Minimum of one to two years of leadership experience or supervisory role in a customer-centric environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve excellent sales outcomes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Additional Information
Benefits:
- Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000
