Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team as a Skin, Wound and Ostomy Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, providing expert care to patients with complex skin, wound, and ostomy needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced assessment and management of skin, wound, and ostomy issues
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Teach, counsel, and advise patients and their families on skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote best practices in skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Participate in education and research initiatives to advance the field of skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Current Certificate as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Certification as a Nurse Specialized in Skin, Wound and Ostomy care (NSWOC) or equivalent
- 3-5 years of recent experience in Nursing, with a focus on skin, wound, and ostomy care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
