Lease Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Lease Administrator to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for administering various agreements, including leases, ancillary documents, and license agreements. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret lease provisions will be essential in ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
Key Responsibilities- Draft and administer leases, ancillary documents, and license agreements
- Review tenant changes with Senior Manager and negotiate agreements
- Proactively identify and mitigate risk/liability of landlord in leases
- On-board new properties with assistance from Senior Manager
- Liaise with leasing managers, brokers, and counsel for status of agreements
- Recommend and coordinate landlord execution of lease and ancillary documents
- Maintain document tracking sheets and lease documentation file folders
- Assist in budget and re-forecast process
- Check encumbrances to confirm new tenant agreements do not conflict with existing agreements
We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years of experience in a leasing or legal support role, preferably with a paralegal designation or law clerk experience. You should have excellent knowledge of commercial leases and the ability to draft lease language. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
