We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Architect to join our team at Desjardins. As a key member of our architecture team, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's technology strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to architecture teams on large-scale, specialized projects that significantly impact the entire organization.
  • Strategic Advisory: Advise and assist specialists and business partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute, and monitor strategic mandates under your responsibility.
  • Policy Development: Support the development and updating of policies, standards, architecture targets, and supporting foundations, taking into account aspects pertaining to data, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify, analyze, and diagnose major issues, establishing guidelines and making recommendations to the appropriate decision-making bodies and committees.
  • Representation: Represent your unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies, as well as represent Desjardins's position when making agreements with external partners and organizations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Language: Knowledge of French is required, and advanced proficiency in English is necessary due to the nature of the duties or work tools.
  • Skills: Action-oriented, customer-focused, differences, interpersonal savvy, nimble learning, and strategic mindset.
