About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at DOMTECH INC. as an Industrial Equipment Assembler. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble mechanical equipment, stationary industrial machinery, and other complex systems.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, repair or replace defective machinery parts, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Fabrication and Estimation: Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Operational Support: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and commission systems and components.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Install machinery and equipment, and commission systems and components.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced industrial environment with heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
