Job Title: Compositor/Motion Graphics Artist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compositor/Motion Graphics Artist to join our team at Blackbird Interactive. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for bringing static assets to life through animation, working closely with directors and clients to deliver high-quality motion graphics and visual effects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, incorporating live-action elements and creating engaging visual effects.
  • Collaborate with directors and clients to understand project requirements, pitch design concepts, and deliver final products.
  • Develop a strong sense of editorial timing and direction, ensuring seamless integration of motion graphics and live-action elements.
  • Work with a variety of video formats, including 360/immersive content, and have a working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Stay up-to-date with current graphic trends and best practices in motion graphics and visual effects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Expert-level knowledge of After Effects and Cinema 4D.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and 3D modeling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
