Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at LMC Barrie clinic, supporting our endocrinology and diabetes care services. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our team of endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments of patients, including obtaining history, performing physical assessments, and reviewing diagnostic testing.
- Manage and counsel patients on diabetes management and advanced skills, including the implementation and adjustment of diabetes and other endocrine therapies and monitoring systems.
- Consult with supervising physicians as necessary and perform all patient care activities as per medical directives.
- Act as Sub-Investigator and coordinator for research studies, conducting study patient physicals, visits, and performing queries and data entry.
- University-based accredited Physician Assistant training program (Bachelor or Master level).
- Member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
- Experience practicing as a Physician Assistant is considered an asset, but we welcome new grads to apply pending PACC Exam results in 2024.
- Ready to expand your expertise and grow in the specialty of Endocrinology Practice.
- Established team of 8 Physicians Assistants, with full training and support from Endocrinologists and our PA Program Lead.

- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with paid days off for holidays.
