Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage a Team: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odours, wet/damp, hot, outdoors.
