We are seeking a dedicated Film Production Editor to join our team at PurpleDOG Post Production, LightVAULT. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where creativity and precision are paramount.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a College or CEGEP program in a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in video editing.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble film segments into coherent sequences to ensure continuity and achieve the desired visual effects.
- Edit motion picture film in alignment with the director's artistic vision.
Contribute to various types of media including:
- Advertising and communications
- Film
- Video
The successful candidate will possess:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Organizational skills and sound judgment
- Ability to manage a large workload efficiently
