We are seeking a skilled Film Editor to join our team at PurpleDOG Post Production, LightVAULT. As a Film Editor, you will be responsible for arranging film segments into sequences to achieve continuity and desired effects, editing motion picture film based on the director's vision, and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:- Arrange film segments into sequences to achieve continuity and desired effects
- Edit motion picture film based on the director's vision
- Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Collaborate with directors and producers to ensure the final product meets their expectations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest editing software and techniques
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in film editing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in editing software such as Avid, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro
