CGS is looking for a proficient Financial Operations Auditor to deliver comprehensive auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving intricate financial transactions and organizations attempting to avoid scrutiny.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and drafting technical audit protocols, demonstrating proficiency in various accounting systems, and maintaining exceptional cross-functional communication throughout the investigative process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and audit diverse accounting systems.
- Organize and present extensive data sets, including bank statements, financial documents, healthcare claims, tax records, and other relevant evidence.
- Assist in planning investigations by conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify potential witnesses and pertinent financial documents.
- Prepare clear and precise reports detailing the results of analyses, including necessary charts, summaries, and schedules.
- Utilize electronic databases to uncover assets, documents, and other forms of physical evidence.
- Evaluate an individual or corporation's capacity to fulfill monetary penalties based on financial disclosures and independent asset and liability investigations.
- Develop, coordinate, and issue draft technical audit guidelines and instructions relevant to financial audits and investigations.
- Compile and analyze documents and physical evidence, creating charts, graphs, and other visual materials for use in legal motions and trials.
- Engage with designated federal agency personnel and state and local officials as required throughout investigations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in statistical/data analysis, finance, accounting, fraud examination, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, fraud examination, or statistical/data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience in reviewing and understanding medical records, along with knowledge of medical billing procedures, including familiarity with STARS and/or Business Objects.
- Relevant experience working with federal or state legal or law enforcement entities.
